As we wrap up the Winter Ski & Ride season this Spring, a lot is going on in Winter Park. Take a look at the schedule of events and be sure to stop by Cooper Creek Square while you are in town.
Take advantage of Cooper Creek Square’s FREE covered parking garage. This time of year, it’s sunny one minute and a snowstorm the next, so save your energy and stop scraping the car. Parking in our covered parking garage keeps you from having to clean the car, and it’s also the hub for the FREE Lift shuttle bus. Grab the shuttle to head up to the hill and back where Cooper Creek has tons of shopping, dining and happy hour options waiting for you right in downtown Winter Park. For a night out on the town give The Lift (970) 726-4163 a call for a home pickup and drop off, 5pm-2: 30 am. Many of our restaurants serve food and drink until 10 pm and Leo’s Kitchen offers late night food and drink specials until midnight.
March 31st is the first of four weekends of events in Winter Park and at Winter Park Resort. Friends, families, guests, and locals can head to Hideaway Park, just blocks from Cooper Creek Square, to participate in sledding races, a DJ party, and live music on the Hideaway Park stage.
Parking is scarce at the park, so leave the car in the parking garage at Cooper Creek Square and join us for lunch and dinner on your way to or from the event.
This weekend is also the last showing of our Spirits of Winter Light Show at Cooper Creek Square. Playing every 30 minutes after dusk, everyone can enjoy the music and lights in the Courtyard at Cooper Creek.
Don’t forget, coming up on April 20th is the 80’s Melt Down Party at Smokin Moe’s. Wear your best 80’s costume for the contest, plus giveaways, snacks, and drinks. That Damn Sasquatch will be performing a Bluegrass tribute to The Talking Heads along with Jessica Jones’ Michael Jackson Tribute Band. What an excellent way to finish out the 2017/2018 ski and ride season. Tickets are $15 in advance and $20 at the door.
