Located in downtown Winter Park, Colorado on the lower level of Cooper Creek Square, Smokin’ Moe’s brings in a variety of amazing musicians throughout the year. April 20 – 80’s Meltdown Party
Celebrate Splash weekend at Moe’s for the 80’s Melt Down Party on 4-20! Starting at 8pm, there will be two amazing bands. That Damn Sasquatch plays a Tribute to The Talking Heads followed by Jessica Jones’ Micheal Jackson Tribute Band. Wear your best 80’s outfit. Winner takes the prize! 15$ advance tickets sold at Smokin Moe’s or $20 at the door. Doors open at 7pm.
May 11 – Extreme Midget Wrestling
Voted the best show by fans across the nation, Extreme Midget Wrestling is coming to Smokin’ Moe’s Saloon. This is a body slamming activity… MIDGET STYLE! The World’s smallest wrestlers are competing for the title. Midgets vs. Dwarfs in an all-out Pro Wrestling War. Extreme Midget Wrestling will shock and delight you. Named, the ‘Baddest Little Show on Earth’, this will surely be an epic night out with friends at Cooper Creek Square.
June 22 – 23 – Blues & Bikes Weekend in Winter Park
Blues from the Top Festival will carry over to Smokin’ Moe’s at night with artists from the festival performing on the Moe’s stage. Keep the party going with Southern Avenue and Kate Moss & the Catt Pack on June 22 and Nick Moss featuring Dennis Gruenling and Kara Grainger on the 23rd. Check back for more artist details. Also, check out the Blues All-Star Showcase at Music on the Square, Friday, June 22 6-8pm, a free live show by the fountain in the Cooper Creek Square courtyard.
July 20-21 – Winter Park Jazz Festival Weekend
For over 20 years Denver DJ’s have been spinning for the Winter Park Jazz Festival After Party at Smokin’ Moe’s. These guys know how the sweet sounds of Jazz make people move in these mountains and have perfected the after party for almost as long as the festival has been coming to Winter Park, Colorado. Smokin’ Moe’s is the only place to be after the 36th Annual Winter Park Jazz Festival! Also, start the weekend on Friday at Music on the Square featuring artist Shaun Munday, a one-of-a-kind talent. He blends soul-drenched vocals with show-stopping bass guitar technique. Shaun captures audiences with a full band sound and plays the bass better than most people play the guitar.
Head to Cooper Creek Square for Free Live Music every Friday night at Music on the Square, June 22- August 31. Enjoy live music by the fountain with national recording artists, local musicians, and some of Colorado’s best talent. You can even order dinner or an appetizer from the Taste of Cooper Creek Square Food Tent which offers a selection of menu items from rotating restaurants at Cooper Creek.
