Big Trout Brewing
The brewery will feature twenty taps, a comfortable, welcoming environment, and some small bites. According to the owner, Emily Caldwell, “We’ve been community members in Grand County for 13 years, and we are raising our family here. It is important to us that we have a family-friendly atmosphere for the community and visitors alike.”
Big Trout Brewing will release more information as the construction progresses. In the meantime, you can follow them on Facebook for the latest updates and information. Tom and Emily look forward to serving the community this winter. Follow Big Trout Brewing on Facebook here: BigTroutBrewingCo
Lion Head Coffee Kiosk
JUST ANNOUNCED: Lion Head, a specialty coffee shop, started in 2015 in Grand County, will be taking your coffee orders right in downtown Winter Park at the brand new Transit Center in Cooper Creek. Their goal as a business is to make the customers feel better leaving the cafe then when they came in. They roast their coffee in-house, at Two Pine Supply in Granby, and you can find it at a number of locations across Grand County. Lion Head specializes in making things in-house, like their super-popular burritos, which feature meats and veggies smoked in-house at their Granby shop, flavor syrups, chai, and pastries. An expansion into Winter Park is something they have looked at trying multiple times, but this efficient high traffic space is perfect for their speedy service model. Coming This Winter!
Winter Park Transit Center
Coming this winter to Cooper Creek Square, the 5,500 square foot space former town ice rink will soon be transformed into Winter Park’s only indoor Transit Center. You will be able to wait inside, use the public restroom, and learn about The Lift transit schedule all without shivering and seeing your breath. Conveniently located next to the free parking garage in downtown Winter Park, the new Transit Center will not take away any covered parking and will make parking in the garage and waiting for a bus to the slopes so much warmer!
Mark your Calendars for our Annual Celebration of Lights event happening November 29, 2019. Watch the courtyard come to life as the Celebration of Lights display kicks off for the season. This free light display will run every evening from dusk until 10 pm. While enjoying the lights and holiday music, visit with Santa, take in the lighted holiday street performers and fire juggler. Make sure to visit the shops for all your holiday shopping needs and to participate in our Elf on the Shelf Scavenger Hunt.
